The Miss Model of the World Organization has painfully announced;Mr. Suha Alpayli, the founder of the Miss Model of the World Contest and a famous person in the international fashion industry, passed away.

Mr. Suha Alpayli, founder of the Miss Model of the World Contest, Honorary Chairman of the Miss Model of the World International Organization, and a well-known person in the international fashion industry, had left us due to illness, at 8:30 a.m. (local time) on July 16, 2020 in Istanbul, Turkey, at the age of 88.

Mr. Suha Alpayli has devoted his life to develope the world beauty and spreading the world's fashion and beauty culture. He is a benchmark figure in the field of international fashion.   He has extensive knowledge, experience, humour, free and easy manners, generous, friendly and is widely recognized and respected by peers in the international fashion industry.

Mr. Suha Alpayli founded The Miss Model of the World Contest in 1988 in Istanbul, Turkey, the world's leading fashion capital and has been working with president Anna all these years. The unfortunate death of Mr. Suha Alpayli has not only brought losses to the beauty of the Miss Model of the World Contest, but also a huge loss to the international fashion industry.

During his later years of illness, Mr. Suha Alpayli had already handed over the responsibility of the chairman of the Miss Model of the World International Organization and the famous international fashion brand of the Miss Model of the World Contest to Miss Anna - The President of Miss Model of the World. During the last few years of Mr. Suha Alpayli, President Anna made several special trips to visit Mr Suha and spoke online from time to time during the covid-19 epidemic.   At this extremely sad moment, President Anna on behalf of the members of the Executive Committee of the Miss Model of the World International Organization and all the staff will like to express her deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Mr. Suha Alpayli, and also like to express sincere gratitude to the friends who have worked with Mr. Suha Alpayli and have been caring and supporting the Miss Model of the World Contest!

We believe Mr Suha Alpayli has now gone to a happy and peaceful heaven and will always be remembered and remain in our heart.
