【This newspaper, channel and website report】On the night of Dec 12, lights were on display at Caesars Resort Bluewaters Dubai, the stage of Dubai Fashion Days 2019 was elegant. Shenzhen fashion brands with other Chinese fashion brands perfectly performed themselves on Dubai fashion stage. Up to now, the 5-day Dubai Fashion Days successfully ended in the loud applause of global professional audience and fashion buyers.

The completion of Dubai Fashion Days gained much attention and support from Dubai royal family, Dubai government and relevant Chinese organizations. Former foreign minister Li Zhaoxing, chairman of Hala China Board of Directors, Sheikh Majid, Chinese consul general in Dubai H.E. Li Xuhang, chairperson of Miss Model of the World, Miss Anna, vice president of the Chinese Designers Association, Yang Jian, representatives from Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau attended the fashion show activities. During the event, former Chinese foreign minister Li Zhaoxing, chairman of   Hala China Board of Directors, Sheikh Majid, and Chinese consul general in Dubai Li Xuhang jointly unveiled the twitter account of Chinese Consulate in Dubai.

Consul general Li Xuhang said in his speech that this year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the UAE. The proposals of "China Fashion Week" and "Chinese Film Week" launched by Hala China Board of Directors have successfully built well-known brands of China-UAE cooperation and made Dubai a good example for friendly exchanges with China.

Dubai Fashion Days is one of the most important fashion events in the UAE and the Middle East. As Miss Anna said in her speech, "Dubai Fashion Days is an important bridge to promote cultural exchangesandcooperation between China and the UAE, as well as an important platform to deepen cultural exchanges and cooperation between Shenzhen and Dubai. She is very pleased and proud to be hosting this international fashion event.

This year's fashion week was organized by Hala China Executive Committee, sponsored by Meraas, and co-organized by Miss Model of the World International Organization. The biggest highlight of this year's activity is the establishment of Chinese elements, which has become the main theme of this event.

Chinese fashion brands such as Tony & Tonys by the famous godfather of fashion, "Oriental Boutique" founded by "Jin Ding Award" winner Wu Haiyan, "Heaven Gaia" from renowned Chinese designer Xiong Ying, Shenzhen local brand "Fishing Fashion" and other Chinese brands gathered on the appearance.

The above Chinese clothing brands have joined forces with Miss Model of the World International Organization, utilising the newly born top 5 winners and part of individual award winners of this year and some winners of previous years' contests to display the beauty of their clothing. The models brilliantly interpreted the beauty and unique charm of Chinese clothing, successfully displayed the special temperament of the fusion of Western and oriental elements of Chinese clothing design, and were warmly welcomed by local audience, fashion professionals and foreign brands participating in this year's Dubai Fashion Days.

Meanwhile, the Chinese elements of this year's event also included China fashion exhibition and a series of pop-up stores in the core-working space of D3 Dubai design park. Chinese clothing has become a special scenery full of beauty and admiration.

Leaders including Sheikh Majid, consul general Li Xuhang and member of Hala China Executive Committee Adel Ebrahim awarded the participated designers with certificate of Best Designer.

The 2nd edition Dubai Fashion Days is the first landed culture cooperation project after Sheikh Majid in April this year visited Shenzhen, together with the Vice mayor Wu Yihuan signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between Hala China and Shenzhen Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, also it is the first time to make in-depth exchanges in creative design field between China and UAE in last few years.
