The Second Edition of Dubai Fashion Days Opened On December 8

Dubai Design & Fashion Council and Dubai Design District acting as strategic partners,

the much-anticipated 2nd Dubai Fashion Days held with a grand opening ceremony at The Rotunda in Caesar's Palace Bluewaters Dubai.

The venue is located on a lush artificial island named Bluewaters,

adjacent to the famous Jumeirah Beach and large ferris wheel Ain Dubai.

In the evening,

Li Zhaoxing,former minister of foreign affairs of the People's Republic of China,

Sheikh Majid Al Mualla,

chairman of the executive committee of Hala China,

H.E. Li Xuhang,

consul general of the People's Republic of China in Dubai,

Mr. Yang jian,

vice President of China Fashion Designers Association,

and Miss Anna,

chairwoman of Miss Model of the World International Organization attended the opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony was packed with top international models.

They were the Champion of 27th Miss Model of the World International Grand Final,

Awa Sanoko,

the first runner-up of 27th Miss Model of the World International Grand Final,

Sune Charlton, the fourth runner-up of 30th Miss Model of the World International Grand Final,

Qi Yanchang, as well as the top 5 winners of The 31st Miss Model of the World International Grand Final that just held on November 23 in Shenzhen,

they were the Champion, Anastasiia Ushakova, the first runner-up, Liliia Lakishek, the second runner-up, Yang Yanwen, the third runner-up, Elizaveta Kataeva, the fourth runner-up,

Bertha Angelica Hernandez--and other Individual Award winners also performed their best in the opening ceremony.

During the opening ceremony of the evening,

Winners of Miss Model of the World dressed in gorgeous and exquisite costumes to perform a wonderful fashion show.

Each international top model's unique charisma and extraordinary temperament had won the applause of the audience.

It is reported that the opening show clothing are provided by Heaven Gaia from the well-known Chinese designer Xiong Ying.

And Zhang Jian acted as the general director for this opening show.

"By inviting the world's top models to the Dubai Fashion Days show, it will help Dubai spread the fashion whirlwind around the world and give Dubai's rapidly rising fashion industry wings to take off,"

said Miss Anna, chairwoman of Miss Model of the World International Organization.

The 2nd Dubai Fashion Days will last from December 8 to 12. At that time,

many fashion brands from China will be on the Dubai fashion stage,

highlighting the international appeal of Dubai Fashion Days.

On the night of opening ceremony,

the former foreign minister Li Zhaoxing, the chairman of Hala China Executive Committee Sheikh Majid Al Mualla,

and the consul general Li Xuhang jointly disclosed the official Twitter account of Chinese Consulate Genaral in Dubai. Thus,

the five-day Dubai Fashion Days was officially kicked off.
